A No Mercy movealso unofficially known as a fatality, is a finishing move that is similar to Mortal Kombat's system of fatalities. The move causes the winner to kill their opponent through lethal means rather than simply besting them in battle.

Execution

Once a combatant's health bars have been depleted twice, they will be in a "danger state," where the screen will flash in red while the loser is left defenselessly stunned. While in this state, the winner can execute a special move that causes them to finish off their opponent and kill them.

In Killer Instinct 2, the No Mercy move can only be used when the opponent's second life bar is in critical condition.

Ultimate Combo

Ultimate Combo is another variant of the No Mercy finisher. It is when the attacker executes a long string of combo and performs the No Mercy finisher in the end. The Ultimate Combo can be performed like an Ultra Combo, where the attacker doesn't require the danger state to perform the finisher on the losing opponent.

Shadow Jago is the only character in Killer Instinct (2013) to utilize an Ultimate Combo, and only in his boss form.
